Care guided by the person in front of her.
A graduate of the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy, Kerianne joined The Body Mechanist in 2018. She also brings a background in nursing to her work, which supports an attentive, communicative approach to each session and a strong focus on understanding what the client reports and what the tissue presents.
Kerianne uses a range of techniques within assessment-led, decision-based sessions. Her work is especially well suited to chronic muscular pain and movement restriction, including low-back and hip dysfunction and recurring neck and shoulder tension patterns.
She is also a strong choice for clients who are new to massage or unsure what to expect. Reviews repeatedly describe Kerianne as knowledgeable, reassuring, communicative, and attentive to the areas that matter most to the client.
Outside the treatment room, Kerianne enjoys staying active through yoga and running. Movement is an important part of her own life, giving her time to recharge, challenge herself, and stay connected to the activities she enjoys.
Family is also an important part of Kerianne’s life, and she recently stepped into a new and especially meaningful role as a grandmother.
Whether she is working with clients, getting in a run, spending time on her yoga practice, or enjoying time with family, Kerianne brings the same grounded, approachable presence that clients have come to know at The Body Mechanist.

What clients say.
Kerianne is outstanding. She uses various techniques and really helps with the chronic muscle pain in my back and shoulders. I'm so happy to have found such a qualified body worker.
First time receiving a massage and I didn't know what to expect — Kerianne was great. She had me identify the areas causing discomfort and gave them extra attention. Communicative the whole time.
Outstanding. Highly knowledgeable on how the body works. I will be back.

Start with what you are feeling and how it is affecting movement. Kerianne builds the session around what you report, what the tissue presents, and how your body responds to the work.
