Clinical care for the body you actually live in.
People come to The Body Mechanist with pain, movement restriction, skin concerns, grooming needs, and the ordinary wear of living in a human body. You do not need to know the perfect technique or service name before you ask for help.
We bring clinical reasoning to every body and every service, restoring how people move, feel, and look.
If it bothers you, it matters. We listen. The reason for the visit changes. Our standard does not. We listen first, assess within our scope, explain the plan, keep consent ongoing, and individualize the care instead of giving every body the same answer.
One standard. Five bookable services.
The menu is how you choose a door. Start with the service you recognize. We will help you decide what fits after we hear what is bothering you.
Clinical Massage
Time-based clinical bodywork. Tell us what is bothering you, whether you want us to concentrate on one area or work throughout with extra time where it is needed. We assess first, agree on a focus, and adapt the work as we go.
Clinical Massage & pricing →Myofascial Release
The familiar name for Harris’s distinct service. His Myofascial Restoration approach uses sustained hands-on pressure, slow tissue engagement, and movement or positioning around the restrictions and goals you bring in. It is not a massage appointment.
Explore Myofascial Release →Skin Care — Face & Body Treatments
Skin Restoration Therapy includes facials, back care, and body exfoliation. Come with a skin goal or tell us what you are noticing; we assess the skin, explain the treatment, obtain consent, and adjust the care to your response.
Explore Skin Restoration Therapy →Clinical Grooming & Waxing
Face and detail, arms and body, legs and intimate, plus focused follicular care. We discuss sensitivity, positioning, and aftercare, and keep consent ongoing throughout the service.
Explore grooming & waxing →Full System Restoration
Bodywork and skin care arranged in one plan. Nichole’s two-hour combined body-and-skin visit can be booked as Full System Restoration. Combinations involving two practitioners or different services require a call or email so we can plan the practitioners, sequence, appointment time, and price with you.
Explore Full System Restoration →After assessment, a practitioner may recommend a care structure with follow-through and reassessment. It is a way to organize care across visits, not a sixth bookable treatment.
Learn about Restoration Care Plans →Your concern is where the conversation starts.
You do not need to diagnose yourself. Start with what you are feeling or noticing, and use the concern guides to find the right lane.
Pain & Movement Concerns
When the painful spot keeps returning, we consider the local tissues and the larger pattern around them, including repeated positions, movements, load, and compensation.
Skin & Follicular Concerns
Tell us what you are noticing. A Licensed Aesthetician can assess visible skin and follicular concerns, service suitability, sensitivity, and grooming needs within aesthetic scope.
HRM™ guides the decisions. NRT™ is the hands-on work.
Our services begin with the person in front of us, not a fixed routine. The methods clarify how we think and, within Clinical Massage, how we apply that thinking with our hands.
Human Restoration Method™
The shared method behind how we listen, assess patterns, prioritize, explain the plan, adapt care, and carry information forward across visits and practitioners.
How HRM™ guides care →Neuromuscular Restoration Therapy™
The hands-on approaches our LMTs draw from when delivering Clinical Massage. Techniques are selected through assessment and adjusted to your goals, consent, and response.
Learn about NRT™ ↗Sometimes the first visit changes what feels possible.
“ I had a full knee replacement and physical therapy was slow and painful. I went in barely able to walk and was amazed at the difference. My friend drove me and couldn’t believe it after the very first visit. ”Verified Google review · Post-surgical recovery
Several practitioners can be a good starting point.
Our practitioners bring different specialties and experience while working from the same standard of listening, assessment, consent, and individualized care. Choose the practitioner or available time that fits, or ask us to help.
Nichole Cross
Founder of The Body Mechanist and developer of the clinical approach that guides the practice. Nichole provides Clinical Massage, Skin Restoration Therapy, Clinical Grooming & Waxing, and Full System Restoration, with particular experience in complex, chronic, and post-surgical concerns.

Clinical Massage shaped around the concern you bring to the visit, with deep experience in chronic pain and stubborn movement restriction.
“I arrived struggling to move my upper body, and I left ready to dance.”
Kerianne Reardon
Clinical Massage with assessment and a plan that can adapt as the session and your feedback guide the work.
“Outstanding. Highly knowledgeable on how the body works. I will be back.”
Harris Drucker
Harris provides dedicated Myofascial Restoration bodywork for connective-tissue restriction, restricted movement, postural patterns, and areas that feel bound or difficult to move through. His work uses sustained fascial pressure, slow tissue engagement, movement, and positioning. It is a distinct bodywork discipline and does not incorporate massage or other massage techniques.
Lisa-Jo Miller
Skin Restoration Therapy and Clinical Grooming & Waxing with attention to comfort, skin response, and first-time clients.
“My first wax — she made me feel like we were old friends, so I was never nervous.”
No single practitioner has to be the only “right” person for a concern. Read about the team, choose the available time that works, or contact us if you want help deciding where to begin.
You do not need to know the perfect service name.
Tell us what is bothering you or what you want from the visit. You can book a familiar service now, use the concern guides, or read through What to Expect before choosing.
What to know before you begin.
Do I need a diagnosis or a perfect service name?
No. Tell us what you are experiencing or what you want help with. We can help you choose an appropriate starting point and assess within our professional scope at the visit.
Is Clinical Massage the same as deep-tissue massage?
Clinical Massage is assessment-led and booked by time. Deeper pressure may be one tool, but the work is chosen around your concern, what the LMT finds, your goals, your consent, and how you respond.
What is the difference between Clinical Massage and Myofascial Release?
Clinical Massage is provided by Nichole, Sue, and Kerianne, who are Licensed Massage Therapists. Their sessions use Neuromuscular Restoration Therapy™ (NRT™), drawing from multiple hands-on techniques based on assessment, including trigger point work, myofascial techniques, stretching, cupping, scraping, deep stripping, and other approaches when appropriate.
Myofascial Release with Harris is different. His Myofascial Restoration bodywork is a dedicated approach to connective tissue and fascial restriction. He does not combine massage or other massage techniques into those sessions.
What if I want both bodywork and skin care?
Full System Restoration includes Nichole’s two-hour combined body-and-skin visit. If you want to combine two practitioners or different services, call or email us so we can plan the visit with you.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is required to book. We work within massage therapy and aesthetic scope and will recommend medical evaluation when a concern appears to need care outside that scope.
